Mascord Brownz #SAVETHEPROGRAMME campaign surpasses 50 percent funding

#SAVETHEPROGRAMME, a campaign by international rugby league merchandisers Mascord Brownz, has surpassed 50 per cent funding with half the designated period to run.

With printed match programmes dead in Australian rugby league and on the endangered list in the UK, Mascord Brownz has gone out on a limb by printing the leagueunlimited.com-produced The Front Row four times in the wake of Covid-19 – twice in each Hemisphere.

Now the company is crowd-funding the printing costs of 10 issues in the UK to finish the season.

So far, 31 people have contributed £1831 to keep the tradition alive, opting for rewards such as an Australian Nines jersey and a free t-shirt with each issue.

Now Mascord Brownz has launched a mini-subscription of just four editions as well as making items available exclusively via the campaign that do not require a subscription, such as a PNG Hunters players’ polo.

Overseas readers can choose to have their programmes posted all at once or weekly.
